What Happens in Our Individual Sessions

Every lesson is tailored to you, but here’s my typical approach:

Minutes 0-5

Warm-up & Check-in

We start with dynamic stretching while I ask about your week. How did practice go? Any soreness? What do YOU want to focus on today? Your input matters.

Minutes 5-15

Technical Work

This is where we drill down on specific strokes. Forehand? Serve? Volley? I feed you balls while observing every detail of your technique. Instant feedback, immediate corrections.

Minutes 15-35

Situational Practice

We simulate game situations. Approach shots, passing shots, defensive positions. You’re not just hitting balls — you’re learning to PLAY tennis. I create scenarios you’ll face in real matches.

Minutes 35-50

Live Ball / Points

We play points together. I adjust my level to challenge you appropriately. This is where technique becomes instinct. I’m calling out coaching cues in real-time.

Minutes 50-60

Cool Down & Plan

We review what worked, what needs more work. I give you specific homework drills. We discuss your progress and set goals for next session. You leave with a clear action plan.
